A man has been arrested under suspicion of shooting two police officers in Ferguson, Missouri last week. A manhunt has been ongoing since one officer was hit by a bullet in his facial region and another in his shoulder as we reported previously. Allegedly, officers located the same gun casing type at the suspect's home that struck the officers.
There was a $10,000 reward offered for anyone that could provide tips leading to a suspect. However, it is unknown if this amount will be rewarded in connection with the arrest. Officials believe the police were targeted due to the rising tensions in Ferguson within the last few months.
Bob McCulloch, the prosecuting attorney in St. Louis, stated the suspect's name is Jeffrey Williams on Sunday.
