You’re facing bad luck if Blue Bell is your favorite ice-cream brand. The company just can’t shake the shadow of unsanitary horror, as more products were recalled recently. This time, packages of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream were removed from shelves due to the suspicion of listeria in the product.
The organization blames the listeria suspicion on a third-party supplier called Aspen Hills that created a batch of cookie dough that may have been tainted. However, no illnesses have been reported at this time from listeria in the area. Blue Bell released a statement on Twitter saying, “It issued the recall out of an abundance of caution.”
Will you bet eating Blue Bell Ice-cream in the near future?
